POSPR is for Pioneers of Sport Parachuting Reunion. These reunions were organized based on the dream of getting together with “jumping” friends of 1960-vintage. Since the first reunion hosted by Jill and Nate Pond (D69) at their Beefalow Farm in Vermont, it has become one of the most important “get togethers” celebrating our sport.

Over the years, POSPR was held in Tampa, Tucson, Elsinore, Denver, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Raeford. But the most favored location is Felicity – at the Center of the World where the last few reunions have been held.

Many of the attendees in their 80s are still jumping and setting records but younger jumper also enjoy the camaraderie and stories (all true) of the pioneers.
